Therapy That Matches How Your Brain Works

Authentic, Collaborative Evidence-based Psychotherapy

Ashleigh Gibson, MA, LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with clients ages 12 and older navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and PANS/PANDAS. Her approach blends proven clinical treatments with clear education, so clients understand what's actually happening in their brain and body before they begin treatment. Sessions are collaborative and honest, focused on identifying what isn't working and building strategies that hold up in real life, not just in the therapy room.

Areas of Focus

  • OCD

Gibson uses evidence-based treatment to help clients understand the difference between intrusive thoughts and the compulsions that follow them. Rather than managing symptoms indefinitely, the goal is to interrupt the cycle and build lasting tools for the moments OCD tries hardest to take over.

  • ADHD

For clients navigating ADHD, therapy focuses on working with the brain's actual wiring rather than against it. That means practical systems for focus, follow-through, and emotional regulation that fit a real schedule, not a generic productivity plan.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

Gibson supports autistic clients and their families with strategies grounded in how they actually process the world. That includes helping clients build confidence in social and academic settings while honoring their own communication style rather than forcing a fit that was never designed for them.

  • PANS/PANDAS

Few conditions are as disorienting for families as PANS and PANDAS, where sudden neuropsychiatric symptoms can upend a child's life overnight. Gibson works directly with pre-teens, teens, and their caregivers to bring stability and a clear plan during a diagnosis and treatment process that often feels anything but clear, while also educating medical professionals and school administrators on the disorder.
